La Melguiza »Natural Soap with Honey and Saffron«

Natural soap with honey and saffron, cleanses the skin thoroughly and has moisturising and revitalising properties. All La Melguiza natural soaps are 100% natural and handmade by cold saponification. The advantage of cold saponification is that the soap retains its natural properties. After saponification, the handmade soaps have to "mature" in a special maturation process of 4 to 6 weeks. 

Due to its high content of extra virgin olive oil, this soap is a delicate soap, supple for the skin and known for its moisturising properties. The honey has a soothing effect, is a natural antiseptic and also helps to maintain the skin's moisture. Saffron has been used since ancient times to fight wrinkles, inflammation and all kinds of skin conditions. Not only is it a great antioxidant and has a calming effect, but it is also rich in flavonoids that work against wrinkles and blemishes. The pistil of this flower contains a high concentration of glycans, a polysaccharide that is able to nourish the skin cells and keep them healthy.
 
Uses:
For daily cleansing. Also as a facial care.  This soap is perfect for use as a shower soap. The integrated cotton cord means that the suspended soap always dries well after use.
